CASINg

To be able to create accurate samples during geotechnical investigations we offer several types of casings.

The casings are drilled down through fill material to be able to drive down a clean pipe, for instance a sampler. The pipe can be used for metering the water table, hydrological testing, measuring pore pressure, of for sampling. Our Mitsubishi, ring system is adapted to ream a piston sampler, type St ll.

The system consists of a pilot bit, ring set and a casing. It is easier to drill down than the OD-system, since the casing doesn't rotate during drilling.
