Why did you apply to Geomek?

I applied to Geomek because I saw an opportunity to combine my technical background in geotechnics with my experience in sales, something I find both rewarding and, above all, fun. For me, Geomek was an obvious choice due to the company’s strong position in both geotechnics and foundation engineering, and I had heard from multiple sources that Geomek consists of a really great team.

What previous experiences do you have?

After graduating with a master’s degree in civil engineering from KTH, specializing in building and construction technology, I started working as a geotechnical consultant at AFRY. There, I had the opportunity to participate in several interesting projects in geotechnics and worked in the field as an assistant field geotechnician. Previously, I also worked at Folkhemmet Furniture and Interior Design, where I was involved in both sales and logistics from a young age.

What tasks will you have in your role?

My primary task will consist of technical sales. I will present and sell Geomek’s products, as well as build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and new customers. I also look forward to going on customer visits, as it allows for a better understanding of the customer’s needs and helps me offer better and more personalized service.

How do you spend your free time?

In my free time, I enjoy being active and spending time with friends. I’ve played rugby since I was young and have also been a part of the Swedish U18 national rugby team. Staying in shape through sports and exercise is something I value, but I also appreciate spending time with my family and participating in various social activities. Additionally, I have a strong interest in cooking and enjoy listening to history podcasts during my commute to and from work.
