New Mitsubishi LL

We are currently carrying out the third test of Mitsubishi’s new LL ring system in collaboration with PEAB, on the Väsjön project.

The LL system is an optimized evolution of our standard drilling system L and fully compatible with this. The purpose of the LL system is to increase drilling efficiency, life span of pilot bits, while minimizing our CO² – footprint by reduction of material in both ring bits and pilot bits.

On Väsjön Ø220 casings are being drilled, some of the piles 4 meters in very hard rock. Everything has gone according to plan so far, with a very pleased drilling crew. We have previously tested both Ø170 and Ø220 in collaboration with Svevia and Grundia.
